Cancellations must be made in advance. Our cancellation policy varies based on how much notice is given. The $36 booking fee is non-refundable, but if a sitter has not yet been placed, you may be eligible for a 15% refund on your booking fee.

We cater to children with disabilities and additional needs, but it’s important to provide detailed information in your enquiry form. This helps us match you with a sitter who has relevant experience and can confidently care for your child.

No, but we do recommend leaving clear instructions for meals, snacks, bedtime routines, and any household rules. Babysitters can bring some engaging activities, but you’re welcome to leave out books, games, or toys your child enjoys.

Yes, but it depends on the babysitter’s availability. We recommend notifying us as soon as possible if you anticipate needing extra time so we can check with your sitter. Any additional hours will be invoiced accordingly. We also recomend booking extra hours if you need, we will provide you with a  credit on your next booking. 

While cancellations are rare, we understand that unexpected situations can arise. If your sitter becomes unavailable, we will do our best to find a suitable replacement. However, as a small business with a high demand for services, we cannot always guarantee a last-minute replacement. You will receive a refund of the fee’s you’ve paid in this instance. 

Yes! Our sitters follow your bedtime routine to ensure a smooth transition. We recommend providing clear instructions about your child’s usual routine, such as storytime, nightlights, or any specific comfort items they need.

Our sitters are experienced in handling a variety of situations, including children who may feel anxious or unsettled. We encourage a smooth handover by allowing your child time to warm up to the sitter. If your child is particularly nervous, you can stay for a short time at the start of the booking to help them adjust.

We take the time to carefully match each family with a sitter based on your child’s age, needs, and your specific requirements. All of our babysitters are thoroughly vetted, highly experienced, and adaptable to different family dynamics. If you ever have preferences, such as a sitter with experience in a particular area (e.g., working with children with additional needs), let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate.

We understand that plans can change! If you need to adjust your booking time, date, or other details, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate changes, but modifications may be subject to sitter availability.

Yes! We offer overnight care for parents who need assistance beyond the usual hours—whether for work commitments, travel, or simply to catch up on rest. Please mention this in your enquiry so we can match you with a sitter comfortable with overnight stays.

Sitters can take children on outings only if pre-approved by you and within reasonable limits. You must provide clear consent and instructions, and transportation options will be discussed prior to the booking. Safety is always our top priority!

Punctuality is extremely important to us, and our sitters are expected to arrive on time. In the rare event that a babysitter is running late due to unforeseen circumstances, the sitter will notify you as soon as possible and provide an estimated arrival time.

No. Babysitters are strictly prohibited from having visitors while caring for your children. Our sitters are there solely to focus on your child’s care and safety.

Yes! If you loved your sitter and would like to request them again, let us know when making your next booking. While we can’t guarantee availability, we will always try to accommodate your request based on their schedule.

Babysitters will tidy up after the children during their care, including cleaning up toys, dishes from meals/snacks, and general play areas. However, babysitting does not include full house cleaning or household chores outside of child-related tasks.

No. All communication is handled through Babysitters on Demand to ensure proper scheduling, payments, and safety protocols.  On the day of your care we will provide you with their mobile number, however you are not permitted to book or making booking changes via the sitter.
