Booking a babysitter with Babysitters on Demand is quick and secure. Simply visit our book a sitter page to fill out the booking form with your preferred date, time, and any specific requirements. Next, pay the deposit so we can move forward with locking your booking in. We then match our avaliable and vetted sitters for your family. What qualifications do your babysitters have?

Fees
Babysitters on Demand is dedicated to making childcare easy and stress-free for Perth parents. We offer flexible, affordable babysitting and nanny services to fit your busy schedule. Please note that we have a 3-hour minimum booking, billed in 30-minute intervals. For example, if your sitter arrives at 7:00 PM and you return at 9:45 PM, you will be charged for three hours.
- An upfront deposit is required for all one-off or regular care bookings. This deposit is payable when you complete the booking request form and covers our administration costs.
- Please be aware that the deposit alone does not finalize your booking. Your booking is confirmed only via email once all details are arranged.
- For all other bookings, we will invoice you for any fees and charges. Prompt payment is essential to secure your sitter and finalize your request.

Babysitter Fees
As mentioned above, casual babysitting fees differ depending on the following factors:
- The number of children
- Time of day
- Length of care
- Level of care
Standard booking fee (up to 2 children) with more than 24 hours notice, per hour is $36.00
Standard booking fee (up to 2 children) with less than 24 hours notice, per hour is $45.00
Standard book fee (3 – 4 children) with more than 24 hours notice, per hour is $50.00
Standard booking fee (3 -4 children), with less than 24 hours notice, per hour is $60.00
If you have more than 4 children, please contact us to discuss.
A higher rate may be charged during peak times (weekends) and public holidays.
Please note that if you have 3 or more children under 8, we will be required to send two babysitters for your job, this does mean that the rate will double. If you have more than 5 children requiring care varying in age groups, we may need to send two babysitters for your job depending on the requirements.
Before and After School Care Fees
At Babysitters on Demand, our before and after school care rates start from $32.96*. This rate is inclusive of hours, tax and superannuation.
In accordance with employment law, shifts must be a minimum of 3 hours (or compensated for), this means, if you are looking for before school care, you will be required to pay for 3 hours, even if you don’t need care for that entire time. (more info on minimum hours can be found here)
Before and After School Care incures a booking fee covering ongoing administrative and recruitment costs, this fee is $515 per year. Alternatively you can opt for a per term fee of $150.00, this fee is non-refundable.
Nanny Placement Rates and Fees
Nanny placement fees start from $497. This is dependent on what the service your looking for, looks like.
Nannies are paid as per the type of service, either Part-Time or Full-Time, on a fortnightly basis, in accordance with Fair Work Australia’s miscellaneous award rate.
Please note, the nannies rate is subject to change, in accordance with the change Fair Work Australia make to the mischellanous award.
School Holiday Care Fees
Similar to the babysitting fees, school holiday care fees differ depending on the following factors:
- The number of children
- Start & end time
- Length of care
- Level of care
If you only need care for 1-2 days we recommend just booking in a casual babysitter.
If you require care for 3 or more days, there will be a weekly fee starting from $97.00

Events & Conference Fees
There are two options we can currently offer for your events and conferences.
Option 1: At Venue Creche Care
Fee’s for at venue creche care start from $497 per day.
Option 2: In-home care for your attendees
$18 per family/attendee, per day, your attendee will pay the balance $15.45, per family/attendee, per day. Alternatively you can cover the entire fee of $33.45. A group discount can be applied should you have more than 10 families/attendees require in-home care.
General Casual Hourly Rate
We pay our team fairly, in accordance with Fair Work Australia’s miscellaneous award rate.
All our sitters are directly employed with Babysitters on Demand and not via contractor or freelance terms.
Our casual hourly rates start at the minimum rate of $29.01 per hour, plus superannuation.
